Cabin-Style Stay Near Wildcat Off-Road Park
Bring the machines. Bring the trailer. Bring the whole crew.
Stay at Wildcat Pondside Basecamp — Minutes From the Trails
WPB is a spacious private vacation home rather than a traditional log cabin, but it delivers what Wildcat riders usually want when searching for a cabin: privacy, bedrooms, a full kitchen, outdoor space and room for trucks, trailers and machines.
You’ll be just 2.8 miles from Wildcat’s Hazel Patch Trail, approximately 4.1 miles from the main Wildcat Off-Road Park entrance, and only about 700 feet from access to the Outlaw trail system.
After the ride, come back to the pond, light the fire, fire up the grill, kick back on the deck and get ready to do it again tomorrow.

Stay Close to the Trails
2.8 Miles
Wildcat Hazel Patch Trail One of the best parts of staying here is how quickly your crew can get from the house to Wildcat riding.
4.1 Miles
Wildcat Main Entrance Easy access to Wildcat Off-Road Park without having to stay far from the action.
~700 Feet
Outlaw Trail Access Another trail option is practically outside the driveway.
Hazel Patch Road
Stay Where You Ride No long morning commute before you can unload and start riding.
More Than a Place to Sleep After Riding
Wildcat Pondside Basecamp was designed around what riders actually want after spending a day on the trails.
You have room for the crew, room for the machines, comfortable beds, two separate living areas, a large deck, a private pond, a fire pit and enough outdoor space to spread out.
Instead of ending the day in a small hotel room, your group can come back, cook dinner, sit around the fire, fish the pond, watch a movie or relax with a drink overlooking the water.
That’s the difference between finding a room near Wildcat and having your own basecamp.

TWO LIVING ROOMS
Two Living Rooms Means the Crew Can Spread Out
One of the features that separates WPB from many Wildcat lodging options is having two large living areas.
One group can watch a movie while somebody else relaxes in the other room. Kids can have their own space. Couples don’t have to spend the entire weekend sitting in the same room.
The main entertainment area includes a 75-inch Roku TV, Bluetooth capability and a surround-sound speaker system with subwoofer.
And yes — you can still see the pond.
POND
Your Own Pondside Retreat
The riding might bring you here.
The pond may be what makes you want to stay another night.
Wildcat Pondside Basecamp sits beside a managed private pond surrounded by trees, grass and Kentucky countryside.
Guests can enjoy catch-and-release fishing, relax beside the water or simply sit on the deck and watch the evening settle in.
We actively manage the pond with aeration and water-quality treatments and maintain a healthy fish population.
Feed the Fish
Guests receive up to 2 pounds of fish food per day of their stay to feed the pond fish.
It’s especially fun for families and kids — although plenty of adults seem to enjoy it just as much.
FIRE PIT
The Ride Ends. The Fire Starts.
Feed the Fish
After a full day on the trails, grab a chair and settle in beside the pond.
The fire-pit area includes:
Large fire ring
Gravel seating area
Adirondack chairs with cup holders
6-foot picnic table
Pond view
Woods and field views
And there’s one thing you don’t have to haul with you:
Firewood Is Free.
We provide firewood and kindling for our guests.
One less thing to pack.
One more reason to stay outside a little longer.
DECK
A 20×20 Deck Overlooking the Pond
The large 20×20 outdoor deck gives your group another place to gather without feeling crowded.
Have morning coffee overlooking the water.
Eat outside after riding.
Sit around talking while the sun goes down.
Or just do absolutely nothing for a while.
Sometimes that’s the best amenity we have.
RIDER FRIENDLY
Plenty of vacation rentals allow riders.
We built Wildcat Backwoods around them.
We understand that a riding group arrives differently than a normal vacation traveler.
You’ve got trucks.
You’ve got trailers.
You’ve got machines.
You’ve got muddy boots.
You’ve got gear.
And you’ve probably got a lot more stuff than you planned on bringing.
Wildcat Pondside Basecamp gives you the space and amenities to handle it.
Built Around UTV, ATV & SxS Riders
Large Pull-Through Parking
Plenty of gravel space for trucks, trailers and machines.
Easy Trailer Access
Avoid squeezing a long trailer into a tiny residential driveway.

Dry riding gear instead of putting cold wet boots back on the next morning.
Laundry
A full-size commercial Speed Queen washer and dryer lets you clean riding clothes during longer stays.
Commercial Ice Maker
Our commercial machine can produce approximately 100 pounds of ice per day. Fill the coolers before you head back out.

SXS Wash station
12x16 wash station with 3700 PSI Commercial power washer
KITCHEN
A Kitchen Made for Feeding a Crew
You shouldn’t have to eat every meal at a restaurant just because you’re on vacation.
The WPB kitchen is equipped with what you need to cook breakfast before hitting the trails or make dinner when everyone gets back.
Outside, you’ll also have a Weber Spirit 325 gas grill.
And Yes, There Is Plenty of Coffee
our coffee area includes:
Two full-size 12-cup coffee makers
and
12 colorful coffee mugs
Because eight riders waiting on one tiny hotel coffee maker sounds like a bad way to start the morning.
Cooking Gear
Crock Pot
Large pot for Chili and Pastas
Cast Iron skillet and 12 inch skillet
Water boiler
Toaster
Microwave
Stove and oven
Dishwasher
Measuring devices
Quality silverware and plates, bowls and cups
and more…
COMMERCIAL ICE MAKER
Stop Buying Bags of Ice All Weekend
Coolers and trail riding go together.
That’s why WPB includes a commercial ice machine capable of producing approximately 100 pounds of ice per day.
Fill your coolers before hitting the trails and save yourself another stop on the way out.
This is one of those amenities you may not think much about before your trip — but you’re probably going to appreciate it once you’re here.
Know the Trails Before You Ride
6 Feet of Rider Trail Maps, Right at the Table
Wildcat Pondside Basecamp includes a SERWALL rider table with a 6-foot trail-map display so your group can sit down together, study the area, and plan the next ride before you ever fire up the machines.
The oversized maps make it easy to look over Wildcat Off-Road Park, the Hazel Patch riding area, nearby Outlaw trails, trail connections, access points, and surrounding routes without everyone crowding around a phone screen.
Whether you’re mapping out a full day, looking for a shorter evening ride, or trying to figure out how different trail systems connect, this gives your crew a dedicated place to plan it out.
Built for the Way Riding Groups Actually Travel
At WPB, we keep adding amenities that make sense for riders.
The trail-map table is one of those simple things that can make a big difference. Sit down with your group, compare routes, talk through the day, and get everybody on the same page before heading out.
Plan the ride at the table. Ride it from the basecamp. Come back and do it again tomorrow.

Why Stay at Wildcat Backwoods?
We’re building Wildcat Backwoods specifically around the people who come here to ride.
That means we pay attention to things that can get overlooked at traditional vacation rentals:
Where will the trailer fit?
Where can we dry our boots?
Can we make enough ice?
Is there room for everyone?
How far are we really from the trails?
What do we do after riding?
WPB was designed to answer all of those questions.
You get easy trail access during the day and your own pondside basecamp when the riding is over.
